I tried AAMS V3 rev 003 based on the Started Video explained.
I do know a bit about mastering with plugins and an audio editor.
The AAMS V3 software is much more understandable and the results are stunning.
I think i can now revert back to what i like more, that is music and mixing.
I do get a very good sound from AAMS, so i think i will not master it myself anymore.
I think about nights and days behind my computer, quessing what is the correct sound ?
I think i will spend it on what i like most now, that is making music!

I don't have much experience with "professional" audio stuff,
but I have to say that this soft is absolutely perfect for home made recordings.
If the mix is at least acceptable, the results are amazing!

For mastering this is what i do, and yeah i cheat a bit..
Unless you have a million dollar studio use automastering (AAMS) its way better if you can find a suitable match.
I Have generated hundreds of awesome presets from commercial trueHD audio mastered movies etc..
there is no limits with the AAMS program and you can analyze ANY audio you want.

Hi there Denis.
First of all what a good program you have made.
I can see the many hours of programming time into it.
It surpasses everything i used in the past with glory!
After a few months working with AAMS, i do not think i could do without.
I changed the way i think about mixing and mastering.
And it did something to not trust the ears allways.
Offcourse someone can reconize A and B differences.
But i have seen and hear it becomes so subtle!
AAMS does a excellent mastering and helped me rethink my mixing and mastering experience.
Go for the pro version, because there is options that can style you your own music!

The programming of AAMS Started in mid-2004.
At which time I had done enough manual mastering to see that some aspects could be automated.
At first the AAMS V0.5 Beta program was only creating suggestions for EQ, Multi-Band Compression and Loudness.
This information was only displayed in charts and text, documents and could be used to set up external equipment like plugins or outboard gear.
I could listen each time AAMS calculated suggestions and confirm that it really did speed up the mastering process.
AAMS V1.0 was released on 01/01/2005 and soon a user base was established.
The information back from users confirmed that the suggestions where quite good and helped most users very well.
So for AAMS V1.5 I had to speed up the programs calculations, after some heavy DSP-EQ coding and reprogramming was done.
AAMS V1.5 was released with its own internal Player and DSP-EQ.
The DSP-EQ had a natural sound and worked correctly for most users, so the programming for DSP-Compressor and DSP-Loudness could
continue.

Now days AAMS V3 has got its own completed internal Mastering Rig! With the combination of DSP-EQ, DSP-Compressor, DSP-Loudness.
You can complete a quality mastering job within AAMS with ease and way less effort than doing things manually.
Including the user can now create, analyze and adjust and save the Reference Spectrum Preset as needed, therefore creating your own sound.
The AAMS V3 database is updated and renewed, so many users will find what they need in our software.
I have a good understanding of mastering and AAMS contains those ideas, with the main goal to provide easyness and quality.
AAMS users also have a lot to say and have good ideas, so if you have something to add your ideas will be listened to.
I do hope you have as much fun as me using the AAMS Program.
We do make a lot of work making AAMS a good and steady mastering alternative and I know AAMS can make a good sounding master.

WHen i mix a track and i have gone through the “happy period”, i leave it alone for a couple of days.
Return to your studio and, at low to moderate level, listen to a few current commercial tunes that are in a similar style.
Listen super-critically to these hit tracks and familiarize myself with how it sounds in my room and what elements i wish to reproduce.
Now that must somehow transfer and be kept by the mastering process, or at least be done in the same style.
I use AAMS for source / reference style comparisons, because i don't want to loose my mixing into mastering disasters.
This works very well for me and must work for other as well.
So i wrote this review to tell anybody having troubles between mixing and mastering, that there is a solution to this timestaking worry nights!

Never underestimate how important it is to get your mix as sonically correct!
Know what sort of overall sound you are trying to achieve before you start mastering.
After all, if you don’t know where you’re headed you are quite simply never going to get there!
