Does the job Sublime!

AAMS V3 is a top-notch digital audio mastering workstation.
From start to finish mastering is done complete by AAMS Software.
There is no other software like this around.
But however it may look crude, does the job Sublime!

I will use it so i keep up with the rest!

Some time ago i had reviewed AAMS V2.5 Rev 006.
The main troubles where the limit on playtime 10-15 Minutes.
I now tested AAMS V3 and the playtime increased on the Freeware Version to 25 Minutes.
And on the Pro-Version to over 1 hour!
That is a good thing! Tested it for quality and next day gone for the pro-version of AAMS V3.
AAMS V3 does read more audio formats, so that is a good improvement!
DJ's do not use this tool, it is to good!!!!, stay away!
I will use it so i keep up with the rest! Hahahaha

If it sounds good why look further!

I am a Reggae DJ Soundsystem traveling all over the world.
In Germany i meet a producer who works with some kind of unknown software.
He liked some of my tracks and the next night he brought me the completemixes back.
I asked him how much work it took and what i should pay him.
It's Free he said. Sounds good in money, but the sound was greatly better.
I do not use AAMS but he does, and each time i send him my tracks or DJ timed mix.
He send me back the completed and editted / mastered versions.
I intend to use AAMS and seak / read the web more, but i do not have time.
I do not know more software like this, but if it sounds good why look further!

Blessed!

Pfff, this software takes all Mastering of my mixes and the sound is way better then just dropping it.
First i mixed and mastered (turned up the volume and limit it), and i put it out.
The sound was good, but hey this software is something else.
It improves sound as EQ / Compression and Loudness / Balance.
I in a million years cannot understand that, i am a DJ, not a sound expert.
Great software that takes the controls over where i dont want it, and amazing!
Still i just use the DJ preset and one-button it!

Keep up the good work!

I am a first user of AAMS V2.0 when it came out, that is a few years ago.
Since then i use this good tool on and off. Mostly for mastering purposes.
Sometimes i like to fiddle around and listen mixes for pre-mastering, just to hear what can be better.
AAMS allways will point out where to go and where the sound sits / gets better.
Mostly this is EQ L+R based, where i was years go suppriced with results of AAMS.
Still i am managing between manual EQ and AAMS DSP-EQ, trusting my ears was before AAMS my thingy.
But now, i know AAMS can point out differences and i can hear them, i would never find out.
So really in all 5 years or so, AAMS got way better and has taken over some or most part of the finding out parts now.
It is a workhorse and makes me more concentrated on the sound of mixing, instead of worrying how my mix would sound as mastered.
So i give AAMS the thrust now, because to me AAMS has proven itself.
I am new to AAMS V3, but most parts are still the same.
Something is better, the sound got increased to again a step better.
But i have to see what is new, (user styles tweaking> intresting?!).

Keep up the good work Denis.

Enjoyed this much!

From Poland in my homestudio i work on mixing for myself.
AAMS website and AAMS software is learning me and mastering my tracks.
Nice sound from my mixes, aams makes better stereo spread and balance.
The loudness could be harder but i never did adjust anything.
Working on complete sets of albums for streaming or CD, helps AAMS me to get things together.
I do not understand the compression of AAMS, but if tracks are not compressed, things can be tough.
So in my mix i try to compress to have good levels on each track.
That works better for mastering, and AAMS is the same.
Enjoyed this much!

This can be a lifesaver!

The amount of styles as references is good, sometimes i tweak them into my own.
AAMS is very very very usefull for me, it does more then mastering.
But i take it will not be everyones tool, still afther a while AAMS software is easy.
It first it can mislead you into hardness or strange tool.
As the manual reads, just try a few single button masterings first.
And later on you get the grips more, you will find out this can be a lifesaver.
Tup!

I do think in all those years my understanding of music is fine.
My mixes sound good while i mix.
But mastering was not something i did like at all.
Spending time on mixing and hearing gets fattique, it is painstaking.
And comparing on different speakers, mixing with headphones (i have a wife) is rude.
I found AAMS on the net and 3 months later i got the pro version.
Still happy with that, surviving is one thing, surpassing is another.

The world of music has changed.

Decades ago, if you were a musician, and you wanted to record an album,
You and your band played your asses off in bars and clubs every night,
And prayed that some bigshot producer in the audience who would impressed enough to give you a shot.
But not anymore.
Today, the trend in music production is shifting more and more toward home studios.
Great music is being produced all the time in bedrooms, garages, and basements by normal folks like you and me.
Record a song, post it online, watch it go viral..
and you’re famous overnight.
While it’s not that EASY, it is that SIMPLE.
But before any of that can happen, you must first know the process of how music actually is recorded.

On this site the Basic Mixing I,II,II course is worth reading and it is free!

The use AAMS helps you for Mastering and fixing your mixes.
